Fresh, healthy, nourishing organic vegetables
These days most of us shop fruit and vegetables from our local supermarket, or veggie shop. We are no longer connected with the growing of our kai or the whenua where it is produced.
Earth Stewards Urban Farm offers you the opportunity to be reconnected with the kai on your table, the farmer who grows it and the soil which provides nutrients and nourishment. You are able to have a share of the produce from your local farm and to enjoy delicious, seasonal veggies bursting with flavour!
Earth Stewards Urban Farm veggies are certified organic. We use Biology first Regenerative Organic Horticulture practices to care for and enrich our soil and the environment.

Our Practices

What is My Earth Box Programme?
My Earth Box Programme is a type of CSA ( Community Supported Agriculture ) scheme.
So, what is a CSA? It is an alternative socioeconomic model of agriculture and food distribution that allows the farmer and consumer to share the risks and benefits of food production.
-
What happens when you sign-up for CSA?
By signing up to a CSA scheme like My Earth Box Programme, you are signing up to a share of the farm’s harvest, and all the seasonal ups and downs that entails. When there is an abundance of something, you get more of it; when there is a shortage, you miss out.
-
What do you get in return?
In return, your CSA farm prioritises you as their member and commits to growing high quality, fair-price produce to the best of their ability, knowing that with the direct relationship, there is nowhere to hide! It’s nothing like going to the supermarket.
